Why Bed Tea is not recommended by Experts?

Tea, an aromatic beverage prepared from tea leaves by soaking them in boiling water. 

Tea, a medicinal herb with glossy green leaves and fragrant white flowers, native to China, India and Southeastern Asia.

Tea has lots of medicinal properties, like, antioxidants, laxative, diuretic, prevents chronic diseases such as cancer, hyperlipidemia, cardiovascular diseases etc. depends on the type of Tea. 

Tea is widely used after water in all over the world. It is preferred over coffee by most of the people. Some are so much addictive to it that they cannot predict their day without having a cup of tea. Moreover, in our country India, Tea is served as a welcome drink to our guests and also gives the soothing and pleasant feeling to a person. Like this, many of us start our day with a cup of tea. 

Below are some points which explain WHY Bed Tea is not recommended by Experts in spite of having all the above mentioned Health benefits. 

  • Nausea: Tea on empty stomach hampers with the bile juice secretion causes Nausea and Nervousness. 
  • Bloating: Acidity and the Gastric problem can occur due to the presence of lactose in milk  
  • Increases Acid Levels: Microorganisms are more vulnerable to attack while we are sleeping, results in foul smell from our mouth after we wake up. Having Tea as a first thing in the Morning without brush gives the way to Microorganisms to reach our stomach through our gut with an ease, which in turn increases the levels of acids and toxins in the stomach due to which our vital organs are at high risk of malfunctioning.
  • Interrupts Metabolism: Presence of Microorganisms in the stomach hampers with the acid-alkaline balance as it increases they increase the acid level and hinders the activity of good bacterias in the digestion. 
  • Oral problems: Microorganisms break down the sugar results in erosion of teeth enamel, and other Oral problems like gingivitis or gum diseases.
  • STomach Inflammation: Having Tea on empty stomach increases the chances of peptic ulcers.
